Edilsocialexpo 2023: terminata la prima edizione emiratina

Prossimo appuntamento a Roma per il 2024, dal 31 ottobre al 2 novembre presso il prestigioso e centralissimo polo de "La Nuvola".

Si è conclusa la manifestazione Edilsocialexpo, internazionale di Building-Construction, Architecture e Design, andata in scena per la prima volta negli Emirati Arabi Uniti dal 9 al 11 ottobre 2023, presso l'Expo Centre Sharjah.

Il plauso delle Autorità locali
Nel corso di questi giorni, il grande successo dell'edizione emiratina è stato evidente e le Autorità locali hanno rivolto un unanime plauso verso il format innovativo che verrà ripetuto nel 2025 negli Emirati Arabi e che per la prima volta vede l'Emirato di Sharjah ospitare una manifestazione che racchiude tutti i merceologici legati al mondo delle costruzioni, interconnettendoli con i professionisti, sia quelli espositori che visitatori.

Prestigiosi ospiti
La cerimonia di inaugurazione dell'evento, presieduta da Sua Eccellenza Sheikh Majid bin Sultan bin Saqer Al Qasimi, ha visto la presenza di Illustri ospiti tra cui Sua Eccellenza Saif Mohamed Al Midfa, CEO dell'Expo Centre, il Console Generale d'Italia in Dubai Cav. dott. Giuseppe Finocchiaro, la Vice Console dott.ssa Francesca dell'Apa, il dott. Sohail Pedari, Responsabile Affari Commerciali del Consolato d'Italia, il Console di Romania in Dubai, Italian Trade Agency con il dott. Mohamed Salah, Sharjah Investment & Development Authority, Sharjah Municipality, Dubai Municipality, Dubai Civil Defense, Abu Dhabi Sports Council, Ajman University, Innovation Experts Real Estate Institute.

La tre giorni di fiera è stata ricca di eventi formativi di rilievo con ospiti internazionali illustri. Difatti, sotto la direzione dell'Architetto Massimo Iosa Ghini e la moderazione del noto interior designer Andrea Castrignano, si sono alternati autorevoli esperti di settore che hanno approfondito diversi aspetti riguardanti la tematica principale di Edilsocialexpo 2023 "Progettare in Armonia con l'Ambiente", parlando di Architettura biofilica, Spazi Pubblici, Ospitalità, Edilizia residenziale, Product Design, Contract, BIM e Tools di Progetto.
Tra gli ospiti: Oliver Heath, Francesca Federzoni - Politecnica, Andrea Serri – Confindustria Ceramica, Simone Micheli, Elena Marinoni – Istituto Marangoni Dubai.

Buyer e Developer
Numerosa è stata la compagine formata da buyer e developer provenienti da tutto il Middle East, tra cui: Ahmed Ismail Al Hosani – Abu Dhabi Council, Arif Bhaldar - Danube Group, Mikdad Bhabhrawala – Western Furniture, Wisam Allami, Hussain Tarrab, Arqem Ahmad – Bayaty Architects, Yahya Kaddoura, Wassim Jaber, M.N. Buyer e Developer hanno incontrato gli espositori, aziende e studi presenti, alla ricerca di nuove opportunità di business. Ciò a conferma che il format innovativo di Edilsocialexpo, dopo Roma 2022, è risultato vincente anche negli Emirati Arabi.

I più importanti giornali e TV locali hanno parlato di Edilsocialexpo Emirates, sottolineando l'importanza di questo nuovo evento che, con il suo format e il suo alternarsi tra Italia ed Emirati Arabi, punta a rafforzare le opportunità di business tra aziende e professionisti nel settore provenienti da tutto il mondo.

Nel corso del giorno 11 è stato proclamato lo studio di progettazione vincitore della Design Competition organizzata da Edilsocialexpo con l'importante contributo della Sharjah Investment and Development Authority, rappresentata da Noora Lootah - Head of Design.

Vincitore della Design Competition Edilsocial Expo 2023 è stato lo studio Amaart Architects, con la seguente motivazione:
- The design responds to the project vision as described in the brief (context driven, rooted in nature, and thrill inducing).
- The dynamic form of the station blends well to the mountain topography.
- The design approach uses materials inspired by the material "look & feel" shared in the brief.
- The design is not only aesthetically strong, but also functional.
- The station's visual language works well with the base camp design shared.

L'architetto Alessia Maggio – che ha ritirato il premio – si è detta profondamente commossa per il prestigioso risultato ottenuto e soddisfatta per l'entusiasmante esito della manifestazione che l'ha vista protagonista con developer e visitatori.

Edilsocialexpo Awards
A seguire, sono stati assegnati gli Edilsocialexpo Awards 2023 che hanno visto primeggiare Isotex – per la categoria Building-Construction, Tarrab Furniture – per la categoria Architecture – e Felis Soft Living – per la categoria Design.

L'edizione 2024
Nel corso dell'ultima giornata di eventi è stata svelata la prossima location. L'edizione 2024 di Edilsocialexpo B-CAD si terrà a Roma, dal 31 ottobre al 2 novembre, nel prestigioso contesto del Roma Convention Center "La Nuvola".
La Nuvola è uno degli edifici più scenografici dell'intera città di Roma. Inaugurato il 29 Ottobre 2016, il capolavoro dell'Architetto Massimiliano Fuksas è un'opera dallo straordinario valore artistico, caratterizzata da soluzioni innovative, un approccio eco-compatibile e materiali tecnologicamente avanzati.

Il Contest
Edilsocial Expo presenta produttori, studi internazionali di architettura, design e ingegneria, real estate, sessioni formative, aree di test dei prodotti e workshop per creare un'unica sinergia tra coloro coinvolti dalla pianificazione all'implementazione della realizzazione.

I players regionali hanno usufruito di nomi importanti nel settore dell'architettura, design, materiali da costruzione, sistemi e software soprattutto italiani e internazionali che hanno partecipato all'evento.

Edilsocialexpo has ended, the international Building-Construction, Architecture and Design exhibition, it went on stage for the first time in the United Arab Emirates from 9 to 11 October 2023, at the Expocentre of Sharjah.

The plaudit from local authorities

During these days, the great success of the Emirati edition was evident and the local authorities addressed their unanimous plaudit towards the innovative format that will be repeated in 2025 in the United Arab Emirates and that for the first time has seen the Emirate of Sharjah guesting the exhibition that includes all the products linked to the world of construction, interconnecting them with the professionals, both the exhibiting and the visitors.

The Opening ceremony of the exhibition, where H.E. Sheikh Majid bin Sultan bin Sager Al Qasimi presided over, has seen the presence of illustrious guests such as H.E. Massimo Iosa Ghini and the moderation of the well-known interior designer Andrea Castrignano, authoritative experts took turns to examine many aspects regarding the main topic of Edilsocialexpo 2023 "Design in Harmony with the Environment", talking about Biophilic Architecture, Public Areas, Hospitality, Residential Construction, Product Design, Contract, Bim and Project Tools.

Design Competition

During day 11 the winning project studio of the Design Competition organized by Edilsocialexpo with the important contribute of Sharjah Investment and Development Authority , represented by Noora Lootah – Head of Design - has been proclaimed.

Amaart Architects has been the winner of the Design Competition of Edilsocialexpo 2023, with the following reason:

Arch. Alessia Maggio – who received the Award – said to be deeply touched for the prestigious obtained result and satisfied for the enthusiastic result of the exhibition that saw her as a protagonist with developers and visitors.

Edilsocialexpo Awards

Following, the Edilsocialexpo 2023 Awards were assigned seeing Isotex standing out – for Building-Construction Cathegory, Tarrab Furniture – Architecture cathegory – and Felis Soft Living - Design cathegory.

The 2024 edition

During the last day of events the next location was unveiled. The 2024 edition of Edilsocialexpo B-CAD is going to be held in Rome, from October 31st to November 2nd, in the prestigious context of the Rome Convention Center "La Nuvola".
La Nuvola is one of Rome most spectacular buildings. Inaugurated the 29 October 2016, the masterpiece of Arch. Massimiliano Fuksas is a work with an extraordinary artistic value, characterised by innovative solutions, an eco-compatible approach and technologically advanced materials.

The Contest

Edilsocial Expo shows manufacturers, international studios of architecture, design , engineering, real estates, training sessions, products testing areas and workshops to create a unique synergy between the ones involved from the planning to the implementation of the realization.

The regional players benefited from important names in the sector of architecture, design, building materials, systems and software mostly italian and international which attended the event.
